Unser Anliegen

our concern

The Dambusters Museum Germany sees itself as a mediator between the generations –
those who lived through the events, and those who want to learn them again from history.

Arranging the topics it was advisable to strike an arc and not to be limited to the destruction
of the Eder Dam wall. So the question of how this could happen and the lessons from it were relevant.

The British people and the Royal House show their goodwill and friendship for us.
They regard highly the commitment of this facility for the memory of all victims of this
war whether on the ground,at sea, or in the air.

The mutual striving for a Europe in peace and friendship combines us to England and the
Commonwealth of Nations.

We are proud of this friendship and will prove their confidence in working
together for a future in peace and freedom.
